I got a new livejournal account, so this post will be on there too. XD
So I am a HUGE fan of Detective Conan (Meitantei Conan/Case Closed, whatever you want to call it) and I'm currently reading the series in DCTP.ws, who is a really great database for Detective Conan episodes and chapters and they're up to date with the new material. I'm also reading Shugo Chara on onemanga.com, because the episodes are mostly fillers for when the manga takes to long to come out, and I have noticed that getting one chapter out takes "a million years!" =[
I know, I know... I have to be patient, so I try. Believe me, I try... On the other hand... SO I've been looking for some Detective Conan doushinji and all I get are links to places where you can buy them...I know some people have them scanlated, but I can never find where. I also learned yesterday that most doushinji are hentai... yep... amazing, right? I really need to find some that are not hentai. They exist! I know they exist without hentai! I just need to keep looking, get some help or wait a few more months till I turn 18.
This is an old fandub as well. Everyone seems proud of my for being able to catch the lyrics well. I don't think it's that complicated. I read through it once and picked it up, so it was quite easy. But I still have to refer back to it many times.

I just finished watching "Haruhi" the other day and wondered why the creator had to make the series in a mized order. I had watched it in chronological order, but can't help thinking that I missed an episode...
The anime is about a "typical" first-year high school student who's just not like eveyone else. (hence the quotes on "typical") This girl, Haruhi Suzumiya, has a special interest in the paranormal. She aonnounces to her class that she wants to meet aliens, time-travelers and espers. Not humans. Well, she get's her wish after creating a club of her own called the SOS Brigade (but she doesn't realize that her friends are not of this world). The club's purpouse is to discover the paranoral. But most of the time they just sit there and play games or torture the "mascot" and time-traveler (unknown to Haruhi), Mikuru Asahina. The idea for the club came to her from a normal human boy, Kyon. Kyon learns the seacrets of the other members and discovers that Haruhi has the power to create and destroy the world when she get's upset. Therefore, she is reffered to as "god" by the members. Their job is to keep Haruhi from loosing her temper and destroying the world. That basically sums up the plot.
Now the fad among anime fans everywhere is the "Haruhi Dance", a dance that you see all of the members of the SOS brigade dancing next to Haruhi to an adorable song about going for your dreams. Everyone knows the dance (even me, I learned it in a half-hour), or atleast the majority of anime-lovers do. Here is the dance video clip for your enoyment. And if you havent seen this anime, I recomend it.
